Pre-Show Music Testing at the Enchanted Tiki Room
Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room is just less than a week away from its grand re-opening, which will take place on Monday, August 15, 2011. If you've followed the progress of the work here at OTPN, you know that they've already installed a brand-new sign, and that they've completely refurbished the interiors. But, what about the pre-show area? While it is still a mystery what they've done in the waiting area (if they've changed anything), we already have a video that includes some of the musics that will be used before the pre-show:
The music truly has a Polynesian feeling, that's for sure. It fits perfectly the attraction, and I wonder if this is the same kind of music used at the Disneyland version of the Enchanted Tiki Room.
On a related news, we've heard many rumors from other Disney fan boards that state that Walt Disney World's version will not feature a fountain in the center of the room. Why is it an important piece of information? Well, because the original Enchanted Tiki Room featured (and still does at Disneyland) a beautiful, medium-sized fountain that changed color and that "danced" along with the music and the Audio-Animatronic parrots. It was really helped to create the right vibe of the show. However, those same rumors also say that there may be something interesting that will replace the fountain... something like an erupting volcano in the background.
Anyway, we just have to be patient, and wait just a few more days to find out what the Imagineers have prepared for our enjoyment!
Is that an interactive queue?
ReplyDeleteSome rumors say it is, but we will have a confirmation next Monday, when the attraction re-opens!
ReplyDeleteThe music is just good old jack de Mello's Sophisticated Hula then Kaimana Hila.
