Magic Kingdom Update - Tiki Room's New Sign, Tinker Bell's Nook and More (PART 2)
In PART 1 of this update we checked out Main Street U.S.A. and part of Adventureland. Now, we have to keep on going through Adventureland, to see if there's something else to see:
Every time we see this, we think: "Couldn't they find a better way to hide that?":
Anyway, let's go to the Enchanted Tiki Room:
The Tiki Room has received some great, new signs:
Finally, no more "Under New Management!!":
The wooden Tiki statues were not spitting water:
They've been "dry" for a while:
Angelica was meeting just outside the "Pirates of the Caribbean" attraction:
Work has almost been competed on one of the future "stops" for the new interactive game:
A new sound system has been added:
Inside the ride, the guy with the hats, only had one... as usual (sorry for the blurry picture):
Some minor work being done on on of the gates of the Caribbean Plaza:
Work continue on the passage between Adventureland and Frontierland:
On the other side:
Moving to Frontierland, work continues on Pecos Bill's facade:
... as well as on the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade (which has been completely demolished inside):
Some Frontierland entertainers, near Donald's meet-and-greet area:
Minor work being done on the Diamond Horseshoe's column:
Some more work for the new interactive game:
You can clearly see the new path:
Now, we'll skip directly to the Land of Tomorrow, as we'll have a separate update for Fantasyland.
Tomorrowland should be the next land to receive some love:
The Tomorrowland News Robot is currently under refurbishment:
In case you wanted to know the exact path of the "Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover," here it is:
The Carousel of Progress sign is still without "year":
...and it's still crooked:
Exiting the park, we noticed that the rarely-used booth near the bus station was open:
To conclude, near the entrance to the parking of the Contemporary resort, workers were replacing the grass:
And that is all! Thank you very much for viewing!

That sign is beautiful! I'm so glad to see it back!
ReplyDelete(It'd be awesome if we get the Orange Bird back too.....)
I love seeing those old Allen Bradley buttons on the Peoplemover's control panel. Nice little Milwaukee connection I never knew about until last time we were there in May when I took a picture of the control panel myself. Being a kid from the burbs of Milwaukee we would pass the massive A-B clock tower every time we came into town.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know that the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade has been completely demolished?
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous: Just to make it clear, it wasn't the building itself that was demolished. As I stated, I saw that the Shootin' Arcade "has been completely demolished inside." All what was inside has been taken away.
