Kennedy Space Center - PHOTO GALLERY (Page 1)
After more than three months of waiting, here we are with our special photo gallery of the Kennedy Space Center. Since this was our first visit to the park, this update is going to contain very few words, as it would take us hours and hours just to complete page 1, but we hope you'll enjoy all the pictures of this great place. The Kennedy Space Center is not yet a theme park. It is a cultural park, and it is geared especially to those who loved (and still love) space shuttles, and in general, to all that are fascinated by the moon, the outer space, and everything else that is impossible to touch, but that we see just by lifting our head up, yes, toward the sky...
But, why did I say that the Kennedy Space Center is not YET a theme park? Well, because it looks like that is the direction the park is taking. The addition of a ride (the Shuttle Launch Experience) and the end of the era of shuttle launches means that the park has to reinvent itself to be sure to allure more visitors. This includes adding rides or, at least, more highly-themed environments.
But, here you are the photos you were waiting to see! We really hope you'll enjoy!:

The first thing of the day is the "Space Center Tour" We recommend you do it first, because the tours end before the park closes:

The shuttle was going to launch the following day, so all the television stations were already there:
What do I see back there?:
It was Space Shuttle ENDEAVOUR, which launched on May 16, 2011:
