Information on the 2011 Disney Dining Plan Promotion

As part of a promotion, the "Disney Dining Plan" will be included for selected guests who will visit the Walt Disney World Resort between August 28 and September 24, 2011. Here you are some information that you need to keep in mind, if you're planning on visiting the resort during that period:

2011 Disney Dining Plan Promotion

The Disney Dining Plan is being offered as an incentive to Guests who book a Magic Your Way™ package for their visit between August 28 and September 24, 2011...
Guests who stay at Deluxe, Deluxe Villa and Moderate Resorts receive the Magic Your Way™ Disney Dining Plan throughout their stay. Guests who stay at a Value Resort receive the Quick Service Restaurant Dine Plan, with the popular option to upgrade to the Magic Your Way™ Disney Dining Plan.

Disney Dining Plan Tips:

• Take a break from the parks during the heat of the day and enjoy lunch at one of the unique dining locations in our Resorts.
• Guests are able to use a table-service (TSR) entitlement at a quick-service (QSR) location. However, a quick-service entitlement cannot be used at a table-service location.

Throughout this Disney Dining Plan promotion, dining locations, especially table-service restaurants, are anticipated to be extremely popular. The following are reminders [to keep in mind]:

• Dining reservations can be made in advance or cancelled by visiting any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Front Desk, Concierge or Guest Relations, by calling 407-WDW-DINE, or by pressing 55 from any house phone.
• Select table-service restaurants on Walt Disney World property require a credit card to hold a reservation. These locations charge a cancellation fee if the Guest is unable to honor the reservation and is unable to cancel the reservation in advance. Cancellation fees and advance notice timeline requirements vary based on location and are shared with Guests at time of booking reservation.

Additional changes to restaurant operating hours or offerings will be in effect at the following locations (subject to change):

Ohana‘s (Disney’s Polynesian Resort)	September 18 –27	Extend Breakfast 1 hour later until 12 p.m.
Whispering Canyon (Disney’s Wilderness Lodge)	September 18 –27	Extend Dinner 1 hour earlier at 4 p.m.
Garden Grill (Epcot®)	September 18 –27	Extend Dinner 1 hour later until 9 p.m.
Chef Mickey’s (Disney’s Contemporary Resort)	September 18 –27	Extend Breakfast 1 hour later until 12:30 p.m. Extend Dinner 1 hour earlier at 4 p.m.
Mickey’s Backyard BBQ (Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground)	September 20 & 27	Open for Dinner on Tuesday nights

This sounds nice, doesn't it? We personally love the Disney Dining Plan, and having it included in the price of the hotel's room is a nice perk. Just remember to follow the guidelines, especially regarding the table service restaurants that hold your credit card. Also, be mindful that, as the advisory says, if you are staying in a Deluxe, Deluxe Villa or Moderate Resort, you will receive then Dining Plan that includes a TABLE SERVICE MEAL and a QUICK SERVICE MEAL. If you will be staying at a Value Resort, you will receive TWO QUICK SERVICE MEALS, no table service.
