Epcot Update: Fairies Gone, Innoventions, etc. - Part 1

Today we present you the latest update of the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow (or, Epcot). In this set of pictures, we'll check out how work is proceeding inside Innoventions, the changes that have been implemented in both "The Seas with Nemo and Friends" and the "Imagination!" pavilions, a look around World Showcase, and... as always, much more!

"Like a grand and miraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed through the universe of time, and for a brief moment, we have been among its many passengers... But, where are we going?":

Well, first of all, we're going to check out the entrance plaza of the park:

Here we find a refurbished map holder:

It has been repainted light-blue:

On the right side of the entrance, you can still see the former color of both the map-holders:

Work continues on the broken "Leave a Legacy" stone:

Inside the fantastic Spaceship Earth:

The sculptor was missing from its scene (we apologize for the blurry picture, but we didn't want to take a flash photo, and therefore ruin other people's experience):

Inside Innoventions East, we noticed the addition of many more teaser posters for the new "Habit Heroes" attraction, which replaced the "Don't Waste It!" exhibit:

The sponsor has now been revealed:

It's Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida:

In the "Sum of All Thrills" attraction, many additional lights were open, making it much easier to see the incredible mechanisms that are behind the ride's movements:

As we said many times, the House of Innoventions is back open (check out the VIDEO here):

Th touch screen game in the queue of the House of Innoventions is back in operation:

It's nice to see it back, and the effects still works:

I wonder why they take away pretty good games (like the "Don't Waste It!" game), and then they leave things like the boring "Test the Limits Lab," which is very dated:

These tarps may be soon either refurbished or (hopefully) completely removed, according to a report on Discussion Kingdom:

Let's go inside Innoventions West:

The small tower that looks like a building has received some additional images:

It looks better with these small additions:

Unfortunately, the "ball" was not working:

No visible change on the entrance of the old "What's Your Problem" show:

The facade is still there:

But... there's something new:

The whole post-show area of the former Velcro show is gone:

What replaced it? MORE EMPTY SPACE:

The theater still exists behind these doors:

New for 2011: "Plant: The Journey":

The former "Rocking Robots" area is no longer a sitting area. It is now completely closed to the public. From bad, to worse:

One of the game screens for the Great Piggy Bank Adventure wasn't even working... At first, it looked like the were really Re-Innovating Innoventions, but it looks like they only intend to focus on Innoventions East. The "West side" needs much more help:

Let's go to the Seas, to "sea" Nemo and his friends:

A new, temporary cart has been installed in front of the ride's entrance:

The photo-opportunity with all the characters from "Finding Nemo" is now full of plants, to prevent kids from climbing on the props and ruining the theming:

It looks nice, and I agree, this adjustment was needed. I just wonder why it took them this long to make this change:

But wait, that's not the end of our journey!

Please, PROCEED TO PART 2 OF OUR LATEST EPCOT UPDATE!

I really Like Finding Nemo (even if the Crush Coaster is one of the few better in DLP) but I don like the Nemo statue outside the building: It seems like hallucinated!!!!!

You miss to take a picture of the Seagulls while they say:" Mine... Mine... Mine !!!!"... Too funny!!!!!
