DON’T MISS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SEE
CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY
The award-winning cirque show closes its curtains for the last time over Labor Day weekend at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Tampa, Fla. (August 15, 2011) - After 971 shows, the limited-engagement show Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy is coming to end at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The final show will be September 5 at the Moroccan Palace Theater.
The groundbreaking theatrical, acrobatic and musical adventure opened December 3, 2010. For the past eight months Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy has resided in Busch Gardens’ majestic Moroccan Palace, performing multiple shows daily.
Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy was created and directed by renowned theatrical and circus impresario Neil Goldberg as a Broadway show. The show debuted at the Broadway Theatre in June 2008, and the original storyline remains intact in the Busch Gardens’ rendition of the show. The lead character, Mother Nature, leads her “Jungle Boys” through an adventure of sound, light and movement as the vibrant jungle comes to life with award-winning costumes and an original score. Some highlights include artists trained at the State School of Contortion in Mongolia reenacting flexible lizards; rhythmic jugglers from Cuba and Russia portraying frogs, and aerialists from Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan soaring over the audience as graceful butterflies. All this added to Cirque Dreams’ signature production style and whimsical audience participation has made the show a feast for the senses and a wild entertainment experience for Busch Gardens’ guests.
Over the next six weeks, the Moroccan Palace will be transformed for a special holiday show for 2011. And stay tuned for a special announcement on September 8 of the next cool show coming to Busch Gardens in 2012.

If you have seen the show in the past, did you enjoy it? What would you like to see next? Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts!
I saw this show when I was in Orlando on holiday this past 2 weeks and this show was terrible, I nearly walked out I don't see how they could justify 5minutes of someone juggling balls. Also the tricks performed aren't all that amazing (not saying I can do them because I can't) but I have seen them all before nothing making it amazing. OH and the music is terrible aswell :) I am happy its going
ReplyDeleteI seen this show several times and loved every one! They have several acts during every show and some shows I have seen different acts and different performers as they have to have many acts to schedule days off. I think this is clearly one of the best shows Busch Gardens has ever had. Be sure to see it before the final curtain closes Sept 5, Labor Day!
