TODAY: The Last Shuttle Launch Ever
If everything goes well, weather permitting, today it should be a milestone for the Kennedy Space Center.
Indeed, as most of you know, today there will be the last shuttle launch ever. The last shuttle to be launched is the Atlantis. This makes this day even more special, as after the shuttle returns to the Earth, it will "retire" right here in Florida, at the Kennedy Space Center, where they will build an enormous, new structure to house it.
The Shuttle Launch should happen today, July 8, 2011 at 11:26 a.m.

This is one of the most sad day in my life!!!!!!
