OOTL: Historic Bridge Coming to California Adventure
Disney's... ehm, I mean, Disney California Adventure is still in the middle (well, maybe near the end) of a huge park-wide renovation, which includes a radical change of many of the park buildings' facades. One of the structures that will receive a "face-lift" is the famous Golden Gate Bridge (the bright red bridge that also serves as a passage for the resort's monorail). Take a look at these nice concept art:

Historic Glendale-Hyperion Bridge Coming to California Adventure
Work began on July 17 at Disney California Adventure Park entrance to transform the Golden Gate Bridge into a re-creation of the historic Glendale-Hyperion Bridge. The rendering below shows the completed bridge at the new Buena Vista Street.
This new area will bring guests back in time to a classic era in the history of Los Angeles when Walt Disney first arrived in California. Guests can imagine walking in his footsteps through an environment inspired by iconic Los Angeles buildings and structures of the 1920s and 1930s, including the Pan Pacific Auditorium (which served as the inspiration for the new park turnstiles) and the Glendale-Hyperion Bridge.
In early 1927, Walt and Roy Disney moved the newly renamed Walt Disney Studios into its new facility - a one-story, white stucco building at 2719 Hyperion Ave. During the next few years, another Los Angeles landmark was taking shape just a few blocks down Hyperion Avenue - the Glendale-Hyperion Bridge. The bridge is a large, complex structure - still standing today and spanning Interstate 5 from Glendale, Calif., to the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.

We really hope that all these changes will make Disney California Adventure stand on a level that's at least near to an average Disney park. Indeed, judging from what the 95% of the guests that visited the park said, and judging from the hundreds of pictures of the park that we saw, we can freely say that before this renovation took place, Disney's California Adventure was very, very far from being a Disney-style theme park. After all these additions, though, there's no doubt that the park is going toward the right direction.
