Magic Kingdom Character Change During EMH
A pretty bad change is coming soon. It may or may not affect you, but it's surely something that makes us think how far Disney will go in cutting entertainment (or just recycle it...). Take a look at the change that will take place during the Extra Magic Hours ONLY:

Because of the popularity of the unique attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, Magic Kingdom Park will be adjusting character offerings for Extra Magic Hours (EMH) over the next two weeks.
- Beginning July 3, characters will not appear in the Fantasyland courtyard for evening Extra Magic Hours.
- Starting July 10, Town Square Theater will remain open during regular park hours, but will not be available during morning or evening Extra Magic Hours.
... Guests wanting to meet the Disney characters will continue to have many opportunities to do so throughout the course of the main park operating hours. Mickey Mouse and the Disney Princesses are located at the Town Square Theater, with Disney’s FASTPASS available so guests can expedite their visit. There are also now more opportunities to visit with Rapunzel at Fairytale Garden, who has become a guest favorite since her debut last year.

So, after reading this, do you really think that guests would say they prefer to have no characters to meet during EMH? I Am sure they would rather have both the characters and the rides, of course! The Extra Magic Hours are a perk for those staying at a Disney Resort, and that are therefore spending a lot more money that those staying outside the resort, so we don't think they deserve this... What's your opinion on this?
Character Meet and Greet should always be a part of the Extra Magic Hours. Staying on prpoerty does cost more and guest should be treated to some perks. Not a very good idea.
