Lightning McQueen Added to 'Lights, Motors, Action!'
Yesterday, the official Disney Parks Blog shared with us more news about the introduction of Lightning McQueen (the main character of the Disney-Pixar movies of "Cars") in the "Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show" at Disney's Hollywood Studios:
Lightning McQueen Joins Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show
Earlier this summer, we broke the news that “Cars 2” star Lightning McQueen was set to join Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in July. We just received word that Disney’s famous racecar is revved up and ready to make his debut performance in the show beginning [July 19th, 2011]...
So, beginning yesterday, the segment of Herbie was removed. To see Herbie for one last time, take a look at this video we took just a few weeks ago:
A video of the new Cars 2 segment will be coming in the next few weeks! Stay tuned.
I just saw a video of the new sequence and it is horrible. Not that the herbie one was any good either. No DHS has two shows that need to be replaced, this and Indy. no changes mean no point in watching again. Put some rides in or redo the shows so there is at least a reason to go see it again..
ReplyDeleteI agree with you TheBig2na. Especially those shows need to be refreshed completely, not just adding these minor sequences.
ReplyDeleteI want a Indiana Jones ride like they have at Disneyland. It would fit in well where the show is now or somewhere in World showcase. I could see it in the Morocco or Mexico pavilion.
