Epcot Update: New 'Kabuki Cafe' & More (PART 2)
Have you already checked out PART 1 of this update before viewing part two? If yes, then let's continue where we left, that is, from the great Fountain of Nations plaza:
Work is being done on a snack location located between "The Land" and the "Imagination" pavilions:
Some pictures of the Imagination pavilion:
One of the usual "artistic" shots:
As we reported some weeks ago, the Refreshment Port no longer offers "Latin Flavor" specialties:
In Canada, it looks like most of the members of the original "Off Kilters" band are on vacation:
We've never taken a picture of the famous torches that encircle the World Showcase Lagoon....
Well, here you are one!:
In Japan, the new Kabuki Cafe location is now open! Here you are some pictures:
It looks very nice:
A temporary-looking bush hides the back of the building:
The Menu, which includes a Kaki-Gori item, of course (click on it to view the full-size picture):
It also offer "Shaved Ice Flavors":
Sounds like Summer is soon coming to an end:
The 2U were playing... 4U:
This great building houses one of the greatest Disney shows ever created:
Another look at the recently-refurbished fountain of the American pavilion:
Africa:
In China, they've placed an outside stand to make reservations for the "Nine Dragons" restaurant:
Some of the "Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure" carts have received some new themed props. Take a look at this cart in Norway, for example:
They've placed some small trolls:
In Mexico, the nice facade of the new "Cantina de San Angel" has been ruined by these pipes, which have been painted bright red and yellow. Very bad show:
I mean, it completely breaks the nice theming of the place!:

The pipes are for the sprinkler system and other fire suppression gear so they have to be painted red/yellow to identify that. I've noticed this at other parks also. I wouldn't say it ruins the theme too much. Most of it is out of the way like that bush or up high on the side of the building.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Austin, but I actually still think they should cover them, as they are a big contrast with the rest of the building...
ReplyDeleteEhm... someone can explain me what "Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure" is???
ReplyDelete2U is a great tribute band.
ReplyDeleteThose Trolls have always been there along with the props on the Italy cart and UK/Gateway cart. The only thing added was fans. But that was a couple of years ago.
