9:30 P.M. Hop-Dee-Doo Show Cancelled... Again
Usually, we post these minor news on our official Facebook page, but this time, we want to share this with every reader of Orlando Theme Park News. Why? Well, it seems like there is something wrong with the 9 p.m. shows of the very busy "Hop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue", a dinner-show that performs at the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Indeed, in the last few weeks, the 9 p.m. show has been repeatedly cancelled, and it looks like the situation is not going to change anytime soon, as that same show schedule has been cancelled yet again:

Please note the 9:30pm show of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on Monday, July 18, has been cancelled. Guests with reservations have already been contacted. For those Guests interested in reserving this experience, please offer another available show time. The 5:00 PM and 7:15 PM shows will go on as usual.

So, what's going on? Well, we may speculate that Disney is trying to cut down expenses, because the last show of the day seems to be the least attended. Or, may this be linked with their decision to test a new show schedule? Share your opinions with us, by leaving a comment! We'd love to hear what you have to say on this subject.
Typically the 9:30 show gets cancelled due to low bookings. If the theater is less that 50% capacity, it gets cancelled.
ReplyDeleteThis is the reason why the company is trying new times later in the year. Guests just don't want to be eating this big heavy meal at 9:30 at night.
