Fun Spot U.S.A. Update - Coaster, Arcade and More
Fun Spot U.S.A. is continuously changing, and the new additions are starting to look really great! Let's take a look at what they've done in the past weeks, with a particular focus on their brand-new wild mouse coaster, the "Power Trip Coaster" and we'll also take a glimpse inside the now-open, new video arcade, which has got a lot of completely new and high-tech games! Let's see:
They have already installed the new sign for the roller coaster:
It is a very intricate coaster, huh?:
Some of the coaster cars are already on place and ready to go!:
They're also working on the new, extended pathway:
These are the new bricks that will be used on the ground:
More coaster track:
This is going to be the coaster loading and unloading station:

Now, let's go to check out the rest of the park:
The arcade has not received its new logo on the back... just yet:
As we posted some weeks ago, this is how the back is going to look like:

Pretty close to completion, right?
Let's see what's inside the new arcade:
These new games are absolutely great. Yes, they're the typical arcade games you can find in many other places, but these ones are absolutely the latest in technology! They use high-def, LED screens that look extremely realistic!:
It's all brand-new:
The Typhoon is one of the best games they have. It is extremely realistic, and you even have on-board special effects!:
This looks a lot like the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneers' Gold" at Disney Quest:
There's even the Kraken!:
More games:
These are the old-style games:
On the other sied of the building, there's a temporary area for Team Members. Once work on the second floor will be done, they will move upstairs, and this will become a dining area for guests, we were told:
The quick service stand is already open for the public:
They even have SOFT Pretzels! It's not easy to find them. At the theme parks, they usually sell crunchy pretzels (only the German Pavilion at Epcot has the best pretzels):
Two new logos that will have to be installed soon:
The front of the arcade will soon receive a logo on the top. Here's how it will look like:

Before we conclude, we would like to thank a lot Mr. Patrick Tuten, the designer of all the new logos of the new arcade and of the news coaster, for his patience with us and for answering all our questions! It has been a pleasure to meet him.
And that is all for this week! Please, make sure that you keep checking back here for a new Fun Spot U.S.A. update! We are planning on going back to the park as soon as early next week. Have a great day!
