Advisory - Entertainment Changes at DHS

As we reported many times in the past, new meet-and-greets will debut very soon at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and yesterday, the Walt Disney World resort confirmed everything. Take a look:

Advisory~Entertainment Announcements at Disney's Hollywood

There are several exciting announcements to share at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as we evaluate our offerings and focus on giving our guests new opportunities and experiences.

• Lightning McQueen will be leaving his meet and greet location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Friday, April 8, to undergo a makeover for his new movie Cars 2, which premieres in theaters June 24.
• Lightning McQueen will be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with both a meet and greet opportunity and an added appearance in the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show beginning in June. Lightning McQueen will be replacing the Herbie the Love Bug scene in the show.
• During Lightning McQueen’s absence, Tow Mater will continue to greet guests at Luigi’s Garage through April 17 and will then be making roaming appearances in the park until April 30. In June, Tow Mater will return with Lightning McQueen in their new meet and greet location.
• Beginning May 16, Winnie the Pooh will be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at The Magic of Disney Animation building greeting guests to promote his new movie, “Disney’s Winnie the Pooh”, which premieres in theaters July 15.
• To make way for the Winnie the Pooh meet and greet opportunity, Lotso (short for Lots-o-Huggin' Bear) will greet his last guest on April 30. After this date, guests can continue to see Lotso in the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! parade.
• Phineas and Ferb, the stars of their self-titled show on The Disney Channel, will call Disney’s Hollywood Studios home as they greet guests at a location by Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano and the exit to Muppet Vision 3D beginning May 16.

Interesting to see all these changes coming to the Studios! Granted, they are nowhere near being mayor news,

but they do make a difference, especially for repeated guests!
