The Ziti Sisters - Epcot

Walt Disney World has some really great shows and animations inside their parks. One example is the small show of the Ziti Sisters. They perform in the Italian Pavilion at Epcot, and they're hilarious! They make us laugh even just when they talk in Italian! Take a look:

Aren't they great? I had never seen their show before, but from now on, I will try to catch it, especially because I'm Italian, so I understand what they say, and they speak in a very funny way! Don't miss it when you go back to Epcot! By the way, has anyone ever see this "show" before?

  1. Yes... I was been in the show!!! I was the man who keep the giant banner with the David of Donatello.

I don't know how to feel after this show.... yes, they are funny but they are an ensemble of all the worst stereotypes of the Italy: noise, physical, material, crazy, full surrounded of napolitan music, dressed like the my grandma with a lot of pizzo and crinoline.

They makes me wonder: do you think they reflex the Italian image in the world?
The American People really think we are like this? From some point of view it's a bit sad!
I mean... In China pavilion there are amazing artist, in the USA pavilion there is an amazing "military ancient" band, in the Mexico pavilion I saw some great performer and this is the best show to show Italy?

Don't misunderstand me, I enjoyed the show but the should display a banner: This is an allegory of the medium ancient Italian! Please don't expect to find a person like this if you come in Italy!

I hope don't be too serious with mine word, but try to understand me!
In March 17 (just in 2 days) we celebrate 150 year from the foundation of our country as it is, I hope Epcot will celebrate this event in a more funny and less grotesque way this great day for my country!

  2. They have been around for a few months, they took over after Disney cut the World Showcase Players to just U.K. :-( While I am all for new shows I think the WSP could have just been updated and kept!

  3. i liked it and will try to catch it when i'm there again.
as far as insulting to italians? lets face it, everyone else wishes they were italian, even on st. patricks day. I don't mind it. it reminds me how much people love the italian music, food, culture and image.
and as far as being italian; i have a few people like that in my family.

  4. uhm.... i don't agree with you or better I agree partially with you... I'm happy those women make the guest appreciate the "Italian Culture" But this is not the actual Italian Culture! They're funny and entertain the park guest, but I think they could enhance the show with something less stereotype!

  5. My family and I saw them in May of 2012 and we found them to be hilarious. Our favourite line was when the big lady pulled a sword up from her bosom and her astonished sister asked "where did that come from?" the sword lady looked at the fine print on the hilt and said "China!" ROFL.
