Magic Kingdom construction update

As we promised yesterday with our new and exciting FANTASYLAND FOREST UPDATE, here you are some new pictures from around the Magic Kingdom:

Oh, The Memories!:

Work on the Expo Hall:

Work on the Confectionery:

The two projectors on Main Street are still too visible:

Adventureland's bridge work:

The old bridge has been almost completely demolished:

Another look at the new, temporary bridge:

Work on the Robinsons' Treehouse stroller parking:

The enchanted Tiki Room was... closed, of course:

Work in Adventureland:

Splash Mountain was finally open after a month-long refurbishment (with the new lap-bars!):

VIDEO:

On Big Thunder Mountain, it looks like they've installed brand-new pockets (at least, that's what I've found on the last car of Train 1 - U.B.Bold.) to store your cameras, hats, glasses.... for this here is thy WiLdeSt riDe in thy Wilderness!!:

Also, the Liberty Square Riverboat Landing was closed for refurbishment:

Work on the floor near Pinocchio's Village Haus:

Work on Tomorrowland's Speedway:

Walls for the new Double-Dumbo:

At Tomorrowland, some of the old lights still remain:

New walls are up near Space Mountain:

They're really small:

This is the new and current logo of "Monsters, INC. Laugh Floor":

But, outside the attraction there was a sign with the original logo, that also added "Comedy Club":

It was removed just some days after the attraction opened, as it sounded redundant (there was already "laugh floor", so people knew it was about comedy):

The temporary meet-and-greet for the Little Mermaid:

Did you know that for the new, great show "The Magic, The Memories and You!" (video coming soon!) they need to put up this cloth on the front of the castle?:

Thanks for viewing this new update!! More news coming soon, so stay tuned!

  1. Love the updates as usual! Where is the Little Mermaid M&G too? I can't place it looking at the picture... is it the little eating area close to Aloha Isle!?! Why did they move her or does the temporary bridge go through her M&G area now?

  2. Geez! Is there anything not being refurbished? I would really be upset if I planned a vacation and came to the MagiC Kingdom with all the construction. It will be totally wonderful when done, but WOW what a mess now.
    Thanks for the updates.

  3. @Anonymous 1: Yes, it's near Aloha Isle, because the new temporary bridge passes right through he old M&G.

  4. I don't think the bag in the Big Thunder Mountain railroad car is new. It is pretty filthy to be "brand new." Not very Disney like.
