A post-holidays Magic Kingdom update (PART 1)

Hello OTPN readers, to a new Magic Kingdom update, our first 2011 update!
Let's begin with some pictures of the new monorail beam construction:

You can't see it very clearly, but part of it has already been built:

You can see the wooden supports on the far right of this picture:

It's still holiday season here (fortunately, there were not HOLIDAY CROWDS!):

There's much more space now:

Work continues on the Exposition hall (CELEBRATING the 100th time that we say this):

Inside there are a lot of walls too (sorry, no pictures):

But, what do I see now?:

More tarps!:

This one has been put over Main Street's small garden (usually used for meet-and-greets):

The holiday windows are still here:

These were all the people that were inside the park (waiting for the parade):

These projectors are still not covered:

But the one over Tomorrowland's Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe' was covered! Good job:

Ah! Finally:

Some nice castle pictures:

A nice and quiet Fantasyland:

Some construction pictures of the Little mermaid building:

Winnie the Pooh had a 50-minute queue, even though I think it wasn't right:

Tigger's bouncy place is still closed:

This part has always been busy... you can tell it's finally the low season!!:

The water feature is still closed too:

As I said before, I don't think it was a 50-minute wait. it looked more of a 20-minute wait:

No children around:

This is the newest feature:

It's like a roller coaster track:

The new Beauty and the Beast's cart is still here, and it still looks great:

Some Beauty and the beast pictures:

This looks so much better!!:

NOW:

Wait! We're not done yet. Head to PART 2 OF THIS UPDATE, to see some next-generation queue construction pictures and much more! Thank you for reading!

  1. Which is the track of the new monorail track? Which park it will connect???

  2. It's only a service track, it will not connect other parks (and to me, it looks a missed opportunity to connect DHS to the other two parks!)

  3. Wow those before and after photos really say it all!
