Disney's Hollywood Studios - Jan. 10 update

Good morning, and welcome to a new Disney's Hollywood Studios update, which includes a lot of Hollywood Tower Hotel refurbishment pictures:

It was a very nice day. The only bad thing was.... that there was NO Fantasmic! show that night!:

This seriously needs to go:

Let's see if they opened the new "area":

It looks like they added fake bricks over the plaque, but I'm not sure if they're new:

Nope... we'll have to wait longer for the Legacy... to continue:

Toy Story Mania! didn't have a crazy wait (yeah, it's always crazier):

The Osborne lights are being removed:

The Premier Theater is once again... closed:

No more "Ristorante Italiano" here:

Star Tours is coming back soon!:

Disney set a temporary date of its official GRAND Re-Opening, MAY 17, 2011

Work on the un-themed side of the building:

A new poster of "Sounds Dangerous", which is going to stay around here for quite a bit... :

By the way, in the post show, some of the small rooms (that provide a better show than the real one!) were not working properly! the audio was not working, and without audio, you just stand inside a dark room looking at a black wall...

Inside the Magic of Disney Animation, I found Gusteau's Cookbook! Nice!!:

Figment is GREAT:

Other nice paintings:

Sunset Boulevard:

The car is finally back after months and months of refurbishment!!:

The Beauty and the Beast is advertising!:

The Blu-Ray of the film:

And now, some photos of the E  X  T  E  N  S  I  V  E Hollywood Tower refurb:

Look at the nice work they're doing:

The huge crane:

At night:

Thank you for joining us in this other update! See you soon!

  2. It's kind of funny how the scaffolds on ToT look somewhat normal to me. It's supposed to look like a sketchy, old, and run down hotel and the scaffolds almost seem fit.

    Groet, Niels
