A busy day inside the Magic Kingdom
Welcome to Orlando Theme Park News, everyone! Good morning (or good afternoon, depending on where you live). Today we'll start with a nice update of the Magic Kingdom... during some very busy days! Indeed, there were tapings of the Disney parade, so it made it even more difficult for us to take pictures, but eventually we made it. Let's see what's going on here:
I didn't know they were still giving out tickets for the volunteers:
The supposedly new uniforms of the Magic Kingdom entrance cast members:
Nobody on the street?:
Ah-ha! Tapings of the parade! They want to complicate your life by closing half of the streets...
I've never see this street so empty:
Work continues on the Exposition Hall:
More photos of the busy hub:
Famous people, I guess...
There were A LOT of Disney characters out... I even asked myself why they don't use all of them YEAR-ROUND???:
Well, they're always out:
The bad guys:
It was so strange to see a quiet Magic kingdom.. NO music on main Street and NO music when the floats were passing by the guests:
Do you see Cruella? She's one of my favorite, but she doesn't usually work at the Magic kingdom. She's one of the Hollywood Stars at Disney's Hollywood Studios. How do I know? Well, she is on the official DVD of the park..
Some pictures of the construction (sorry, no over-the-wall this time. Next Wednesday):
The gate of Winnie the Pooh's exit is gone:
Almost all the section of the new queue are open (but Tigger's bouncy place and the water feature):
More characters:
THE MONORAILS ARE FINALLY CLEAN:
No more "Celebrate today!" balloons! FINALLY!!
Work on the Grand Floridian's roof:
... and work on the monorail track (near the intersection of the roads that lead to the Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary resort):
Sorry for the very poor quality of these two pictures, but there was the sun:
Thank you very much for reading, and remember that the comment section is dedicated to you, so use it! Also, as always, if you would like to contribute with a small donation, we would appreciate a lot! It's a way to say 'thanks' to our hard work! See you real soon!
Love the new pictures!
ReplyDeleteWonder if the guests were upset about the parade being so quiet?
Then again they have a ton of parades all day. XP
Why does Disney film the big Christmas parade in advance??? Why dont they do it live??
