Liberty Tree Tavern almost done!
The Liberty Tree Tavern has been under refurbishment for a long time, and it has finally been completed!
Here you are the pictures:
It does look great!:
Here they just have to put new grass or something to cover the dirt:
There's only the rear of the restaurant that has to be completed, but that side is kind of hidden from the view of the guests:

Awesome! Now if only they could hurry up the inexcusably long rehab on main street.
ReplyDeleteSamuele excuse me for being off topic here. But it just came to mind. That you didn't, put any post title something like: "Scared out of my mind Hurricane week at OTPN!"
ReplyDeleteSince 2009 I bet there haven't been many Hurricanes hitting Florida. I don't think you get many of does in Italy! Ha,ha!
Since I live in Puerto Rico and Earl almost hit us, we're on the path of many of them. I would said that, only the Lesser Antilles get really more pounded than us and the Dominican Republic.
Me personally, have experience a few. Have you? Were you and the OTPN peoples scared?
Eh.. Well I'm safe and sound in Kentucky. But I did face Katrina (sort of). We went on a cruise out of New Orleans two weeks before it hit and as soon as we got back we booked it out but it was a surreal experience seeing all the places I was just at a few days ago in 6-10 feet of water. But in the past few years the leftovers of the past couple of hurricanes have caused a good deal of damage to Kentucky.
ReplyDeleteAustin I can imagine...
ReplyDeleteHere last real one was George in 1998. So we are over due for another one, sadly. But it took like 3 week for the energy to be restored. The roof of the big balcony here was half gone and there as always was a lot of flooding.
The sad thing is that like Earl every hurricane season is filled with lots of near misses. So if we are on watch every other time, there's a lot of stress involved.
Just a few days ago Earl was almost upon us and the remains of Fiona were looming and Gaston was in development. See... Tense times!
The problem is that here since we don't get that much destruction as Katrina did, and with all the near misses. People get accustomed, or comfortable and don't prepare as much or leave their houses soon enough and then bad things happen...
Thats what New Orleans thought. We left about a 4 days before land fall and there was very few preparations going on to prevent anything in the downtown portion of the city.
ReplyDeleteSorry for not participating in the discussion, but we were out in the parks to prepare our newest updates!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, about Hurricanes and stuff, I am concerned when I know they're coming in Florida (and since 2004, it has been quite rare...), you know, but I feel sorry if they go to other countries as well...
I would be always concerned if I lived in a place where there are earthquakes or tornadoes, though (NONE OF THESE ARE IN FLORIDA)!!!!
Never go against nature. It can be very powerful.
Great comments! Thanks!!
