WDW Resort news

Some news for the following months:

1) The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom) will be closed for an extensive queue refurbishment (maybe including some changes on the ride itself) between October 25 through November 14.

2) Sounds Dangerous, located at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be reopened while Toy Story Midway Mania (August 16, 2010 - August 28, 2010) and Star Tours (September 8, 2010 - May 16, 2011) are closed for refurbishment.

3) The "Star Tours" attraction will PERMANENTLY CLOSE on September 8, 2010 at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It will be replaced by an updated version of the ride, that will be in 3D, and will be called "Star Tours: the Adventure continues".

4) "It's a Small World" attraction located in Fantasyland, magic Kingdom is currently closed and will remain closed until October 22, 2010 for queue refurbishment and some unknown enhancements to the ride.

5) Beginning Friday, October 15, 2010 you’ll be able to interact with both of the stars from the upcoming Disney film “Tangled”. The Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder experience will replace the current show, “Storytime with Belle” at Fairytale Garden. The final “Storytime with Belle” show will be September 12, 2010.

6) From September 26, 2010 to November 10, 2010, the "Mad Tea Party" attraction (Fantasyland, Magic Kingdom) will be closed for refurbishment. It will include the repainting (if not the complete replacement) of the attraction's roof and some minor works to the attraction.

7) From August 09, 2010 to September 19, 2010 the "Flame Tree Barbecue" restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom will be closed for refurbishment

8) From August 16, 2010 to November 02, 2010 the attraction "Walt Disney: One Man's Dream" (Disney's Hollywood Studios) will be closed for refurbishment. It will include a new carpet and some new artworks/models.

9) Until September 23, 2010 the Cantina de San Angel will be closed for major refurbishment. It will become "La Hacienda de San Angel" and it will be completely new.
