Universal Studios Update
Here's a short Universal Studios update, to see what's new/different:
"Studio's Sweets" store is under refurbishment:
Trying to be a bit artistic:
The "Universal is green" banners have been replaced by classic Universal Studios banners:
New York:
Jaws looks great:
And this bridge on the right-hand side of the picture looks new too:
No more Next-generation queue testing:
The "Fear Factor" signs are back! This is a bad, bad.... sign! (No pun intended):
At least we don't see the big sign:
MIB:
Nice park's skyline! Some say that "Hollywood Rip, Ride Rockit" ruins the view. For me it's great!:
I hope to see an expansion soon in this area:
Once again, nothing new on the old Hard Rock Cafe:
Only an open door:
The open door:
New stages are up all around the "Hollywood" section of the park:
Notice Scooby Doo's van on the right:
Thanks for viewing! And don't forget to check out our new ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE UPDATE here.
Samu, the satage are about Horror Night???
ReplyDeleteIf I'm not mistaken, Rock the Universe is coming soon, right? I think the stages are for that. Halloween Horror Nights isn't for quite some time yet.
ReplyDeleteAs mucch as i would like to see something new come in i don't think right now is the time. Maybe something small would be good now but adding something big now i don't think would imapct attendance as much as they would like. Now is the time to make sure they hasve everything looking top notch. Make these tourist want to come back. In two to three years would be a good time to make a big new addition. For now replace fear factor and i'm good.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right MegaMan, since they've expanded IOA so much this year, i can only hope to see that horrible Fear Factor go away....
ReplyDelete@Bigfoot and Eric: Yes, I think they are for Rock the Universe, but I'm not sure...
Well, it's from September 10th - 11th, about the same time that they put Halloween Horror Nights construction into high gear from the very low basic construction they'd completed earlier in the year. So, I'd imagine you'd want to start looking for it around September 14th or so to really see some HHN construction action.
ReplyDeleteThe stages are for some Summer Concert thing, like a bunch of rock christian bands will be playing! Ill be going around that tim! ;)
