Indoor surf and wave board venue opens this fall

Kissimmee, Fla. (August 12, 2010) – A lull in a wave or an off shore breeze is not something you usually experience in landlocked Kissimmee, Florida. When indoor surfing venue Fantasy Surf at FantasyWorld Resort opens in October, those are two things people will become very familiar with.

Visitors to the 14,000 square foot water experience will be able to enjoy lite dining at “The Lull” healthy American grill. The menu will feature delicious meals for everyone including salads, wraps and burgers.

Additionally, surfing aficionados and novices will enjoy the high quality surfing and beach merchandise that will be showcased in the “Off Shore” surf shop located in Fantasy Surf. 

The highlight of Fantasy Surf will be the patented FlowRider™ system that has the look of surfing and wakeboarding, ride of snowboarding, and tricks of skateboarding in a safe and controlled environment. The padded walls, floor and beach is covered by a three-inch sheet of water that creates a surfable wave. This ride, with its cushioned surface, was designed for wipeouts.
