If I can suggest you a place to take some shot, maybe next time you can shot some picture of the Gorilla Encounter, maybe while the trainer perform some basic trick with the gorilla!

Oh, and about the Gorilla, as I said in the updates, they were not there since morning, so I couldn't take pictures....
Thanks again!
"The Disney's California Adventure section of Animal Kingdom:"
ReplyDeleteI laughed really hard at that :D
No, Samuele i really agree with you a 100%, on your AK statements. Just like the Mission Space ones. Disney makes AK good quality they basically give us the jungle/zoo experience Disney-rized, but is just not enough. Plus that was a 800 million dollar statement is not like they threw a few things together. And i believe it should be judge by Disney standards not only cause it is in Orlando, but cause is a Disney park. I don't really thing the issue is is about time, I think is about taste. If you like zoo's and really love nature you'll like it. But if you're more into rides or full theme park experience, you get an urge inside, to want more from AK. Since i love rides more, for me always Busch Gardens is better. Even do i think Expedition is the best Disney ride for me, and the tree/bug attraction is great.
ReplyDeleteI really like the trails and I don't even mean the attraction/trails I mean trails in general cause in my opinion you get kind of lost, like it doesn't give you a good perspective of where you are. I like that, that feeling of being eaten by the jungle. But I don't know, perhaps someone can explain it, why with so much jungle/nature, it gets so freaking hot there!!! I read some where, someone saying that AK is like 5 degrees hotter than any other park. I laugh! Then thought yes, that sounds about right I'm always really hot there. Plus I always go about 9am to all parks when I'm there, and by 3pm I had about enough of AK.
Good post as always Samuele! I find interesting that since new things to photograph become less abundant, because with familiarity comes some redundancy, you're adjusting by giving more detailed oriented pics. I enjoy that, also the comments/captions are good. Good work...
Thanks, everybody!
ReplyDelete@ Francisco: I am a nature-lover too! But I don't think AK is a full "theme park"... there are way not enough rides... and if I go to a theme park, I would like to have both nature AND enough rides, you know what I mean...
AK is in FACT the hottest park, since the trees keep the hot, so you're right! And you're also right about the redundancy problem! Since we post too many updates, I am careful not to repeat my pictures, since it would become boring...
For whose like me interested to the story of the Maharajah Jungle Trek, Wikipedia say: The trail is themed as if it had once been the hunting grounds for a wealthy maharajah who enclosed the forest to allow for easier hunting and then some time later died in a hunting accident. The themed storyline continues with subsequent maharajahs (including the original maharajah's bachelor brother) transforming the area into a nature preserve where the villagers live in harmony with the animals therein. These maharajahs are memorialized on the walls of the tiger enclosure. The forest was, at one point, also run by imperial British visitors, as evidenced in the Western spelling on the sign at the entrance to the Jungle Trek, which reads "Royal Anandapoor Forest". When their occupation of southern Asia ended, the British turned the forest over to the villagers of Anandapur, whom you encounter as you walk through the jungle. The trail's storyline also includes an homage to the founder of the Kingdom of Anandapur, Anantah, in the form of a tomb and sarcophagus situated at the entrance to the Jungle Trek's aviary.
