Aerial view of Fantasyland

Thanks to WDWMagic, we can share a beautiful picture that shows the recent works on the new Fantasyland area. Here's the picture, courtesy of WDWMagic (click on it to view it in a bigger size):

The new area is slated to open in 2012 (Phase 2), but the new Pixie Hollow area will have to wait one more year to be completed (2013).

There's a lot of work that has to be done, but they're on schedule, don't worry!!

  1. I'm not, worried that is. But neither I'm that excited. I know that the Little Mermaid attraction will probably be good. But the rest of the things I've heard don't do it for my more thrilling nature.

But I understand (I guess), why so many people think it would be better than the Harry Potter World at I.A.. Being the biggest M.K. expansion and all. But not me, cause even do I love some good themes in everything, I enjoy more when new rides open. You know, like the Forbidden Journey or The Cheetah project at B.G.T.. But I know how people love Disney, and won't be able to contain themselves until they get a chance to go on the Double Dumbos or take part on the Meet and Greets. A lot of people are probably dying for them to finish it.

The pic is interesting do, to get a better perspective of the size of the addition. Good work finding it, Samuele!

  2. Thanks so much Samu, from this view I can see why they confined the Winny Pooh tree in that position: they have just stand on the concrete while they should prepare that zone for the tree coming.

From this picture I see that the Mickey's Toontown® Fair area still open while I supposed they closed it!
