'Aerial' pics of Fantasyland works
Here you are a new update on the works on the new Fantasyland Expansion!
Don't miss this update, because we have some "aerial" pics from Dumbo!:
Again some pics of the refurbed side of the Exposition hall:
Now they have hanged some plants:
But there's still a lot of work that has to be done:
A new sign:
Works on the Emporium:
A great band of entertainers played music from "Mary Poppins":
Works on Casey's Corner (they never end!! It's been like three months like that!):
Works on a planter near the Tomorrowland Terrace:
As I said in a previous update, we're preparing a great Mickey's Toontown Tribute, so stay tuned!:
In Mickey's Toontown Fair now there's a wall too:
And now, an enormous number of Fantasyland pictures:
Winnie The Pooh's tree:
The queue of Winnie the Pooh is now all outside the building (under the sun, like all the queues in California...) and it will stay like this until the end of the year...
In the shop and in front of the attraction there's now a much better music of Winnie, less childish, more classic... You'll like it (video coming soon):
The temporary ride sign:
Over the walls:
The loading/unloading area:
They've reopened the Scuttle Landing seating area:
A view of the construction area from the Pinocchio Village house:
And now, aerial pictures from... Dumbo!! Yes, I made it! It was only a 30 minutes queue, so I was finally able to ride it!!:
Works continue on Peter Pan's Flight too:
They're putting a new roof here:
This will be closed soon:
Is this missing something?:
Yes, the eagle sign or something like that:
Thanks for viewing, and have a great day!!
Oh.. no.... they0ve destroied the magic of the Winnie Pooh attraction... it remind me "the cube" movie... it's horrible... winnie pooh is the greatest world wide trademark, and let see to the kids that metallic cage it's not a good idea.
ReplyDeleteit's even not a good idea let the child under the hot florida sun.
WHy they do that??? They had destroyed the winnie pooh tree, now the destroying the facade... I'm wondering why they don't directly destroyed all the attraction!!!
Cool, the top of Barnstormer is a good place for 'Ariel' views too haha
ReplyDeleteNo, Bigfoot, don't say that... It's great what they are doing! it will look much better than the old and cheap tents there were before...
ReplyDeleteYou'll see :-)!
@Anonymous: You're right! i wnated to go on that, but it was too full....
Also, your right it is missing the Presidents seal. This is what it should look like:

Thanks for the picture, Austin!
ReplyDeleteAnd once again, great job with your mega update!!!
Well... we will see... but for now I think that Disney's Technicians, builder and decorator, by now, should have prepared a better cover and lines and not a simple green mega-wall and surround the tree by horrible pipes.
ReplyDeleteI understand that the workers must operate in safety but in many of your picture I see many "artistic facade cover" to remember you how the faced was before the works, but tell me: if you were a first time guest of MK with your 2-3 children that don't stop to ask you "Daddy where is Winny Pooh House?" and you take them to this after Apocalypse facade, how many possibility there are that your child start crying because they think that the 1000 Acres Wood was invaded by the Martians? 99,9%???
I'm sure that the Winnie Pooh attraction's future will be great but put it in this terrible status in the most crowded period is a terrible error.
My only hope (because my wife is a great winne pooh's fan) is in the October period it will be freed by this melt of wood and steel!
I fully understand what you mean Bigfoot, and I agree with you: who visits MK in this period can be a bit disappointed because of all these walls, and I have to say that's a BAD idea to put a queue line under the sun (like they do in California, crazy...)! But again, think about the future! We can be disappointed now, but after we'll be astonished by the works they are doing!!
ReplyDeleteAbout your trip though, don't hold your breath... sources told us that these walls are going to stay until next year!!! I'm so sorry about that...
As Luke Skywalker saw when Darth Vader revealed him that he was his father, I say: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo!!!!" ahhahahaha!!!
ReplyDeleteYou must absolutely made a full immersion in the Star Wars saga!!! ahahah!!!
