Toy Story 3 succesfull
Yes, as I always knew, Toy Story 3 turned out to be one of the best Pixar Movies EVER!

Here’s a lesson for the movie studios: You can make a sequel 11 years after its predecessor as long as the story is great and the characters are so beloved that earlier generations are still attached to them. That’s what Disney-based Pixar did with the third chapter in the Toy Story franchise. Toy Story 3 grossed an estimated $41 million Friday night, suggesting that many of those 20-somethings who watched Toy Story 2 when they were in elementary school came back to the franchise to see its latest chapter. Now Buzz Lightyear and Cowboy Woody are destined for Pixar’s record books, with the highest-opening ever for a Pixar movie. Based on the Friday numbers, Toy Story 3 could earn as much as $120 million for the three-day frame. (The studio’s previous opening-weekend record was $70 million for Finding Nemo in 2003.)
That sounds GREAT! I'm going to check out the movie next week, and I'll let you know if it's really that good (and I'm 100% positive that it will be awesome!)

I want to see it pretty bad. That's my childhood right there! I heard it was fantastic...and Rotten Tomatoes has it at a rating of 99%! That's unheard of for a movie on that website! I wonder if they will be incorporating any of the movie's elements into the rides at WDW?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see it today Sunday. Father's day. I actually didn't know that it started Friday cause here(P.R) movies normally start on Thursday. So I went to see the Karate Kid and Toy Story wasn't there, but I went on Friday to get an Ice Cream and I saw there was a lot of people coming out of the movies with really happy faces. So me being the Movie buff I am. I can't take it no more. Hope is that good!
ReplyDeleteAlso when I went people where taking there pictures in front of the movie poster. The one with all the characters on it. Mostly kids, but also a couple of bigger kids too!

I wouldn't said it was the best cause in all honesty I don't recall the other two that much. But if someone said it, I wouldn't disagree. So it has a lot of action, (toy action, that is)plus a lot love, brotherly love, emotion, feelings and finally closure.
Also I would have to said that I've become very demanding of my movies. I'll go to see a lot of them but that doesn't mean I like them all. I'm saying this cause I think it ends strongly. Meaning: at the middle of the movie I had my expectations so high that I thought this Isn't that great of a movie. But then it picks up the pace and it's great!
Go see it Samuele! Marina and anyone who haven't, I don't think you would regret it.
