Tokyo Disneyland will have Philarmagic
Yes, it's official. Tokyo Disneyland will have its own copy of the very good 3D show that is currently at Magic Kingdom here in Florida.

New Attraction at Tokyo Disneyland Park
URAYASU, CHIBA— Oriental Land Co., Ltd. announced that a new attraction,
Mickey’s PhilharMagic, will open at Tokyo Disneyland® Park in 2011. (Please see
below for attraction outline.)
Mickey’s PhilharMagic
Tokyo Disneyland New Attraction
Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a theater-type attraction employing Disney’s 3-D
technology. Guests are invited into the theater for an orchestra concert, but
Donald Duck causes a commotion, taking the Guests into a musical whirlwind
through popular Disney films. It’s a fun- filled philharmonic mayhem into
the magical world of Disney, with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and other
Disney characters popping out of the screen to just an arm’s reach away from
the Guests.
Opening date: 2011 (tentative)
Location: Fantasyland
Seating: Approximately 450
Total capital invested: Approximately 6 billion yen
Peripheral facility: Merchandise shop
The new attraction, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, will replace the attraction The
Mickey Mouse Revue, which will close on May 25, 2009 in preparation for the new
attraction.

Fun Fact: Here in Orlando, Mickey's Philarmagic replaced the same attraction (Mickey Mouse Revue!!):

the attraction for philharmagic was if i'm not wrong the lion king musical.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing is that I was pointing out that Mickey's Philarmagic replaced the same attraction (Mickey Mouse revue) in both parks...
