Nickelodeon Family Suite unveils new attractions
Even though the Nickelodeon Studios have been closed down at Universal Studios,
there's still a place where you can still see Nickelodeon's signature shows...and much more!
It's the Nickelodeon Family Suites resort, which is a little theme park, including a water park, 4D theaters, mini-golf, arcade, characters meet-and-greet, etc...
And after 5 years, the Nickelodeon Family suites is going to receive an expansion.
from CF News 13:
ORLANDO - A handful of brand new attractions have opened up in the heart of Orlando's biggest theme parks.
But they have nothing to do with Disney, Universal, or Seaworld.
Nickelodeon Suites Resort it's rolling out a handful of new, interactive attractions, including Slime Time Live on the Studio Nick Live stage.
Jean Fourreau and his son Max are visiting from Boston, MA. They voluntarily got slimed. They were drenched, like 2 boogers. Jean’s a tough-looking, man’s man kind of guy, and I had to ask what possessed him to do this:
"Opportunity of a lifetime," he told me, without hesitation.
Got it. Something off the bucket list.
The slime, by the way, is edible. I took about 10 licks, as I messed up that many times when reporting on this story that ran on News 13. Each take meant one lick. I think I consumed way beyond the recommended quantity.
Here are the other new attractions at Nickelodeon Suites Resort:
- Sponge Bob’s Krabby Patty Celebration!
- Code 9 Teen Lounge – a hotspot hangout dedicated entirely for teens
- Splat Pack Dinner – a dining experience fused with improve comedy
- Sandy Cheeks and Jimmy Neutron – the property’s newest characters
- Two new 4-D movies – Dora & Diego’s 4-D Adventure and Happy Feet 4-D (you won’t find these anywhere else in Florida)
So, we'll go to check it out soon!
