New shopping experience at the Emporium

The Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park debuted June 11, to offer a reconfigured layout that will allow guests to enjoy shopping in a new way.
The Mayor of Main Street, U.S.A., Dan Coleman and Hildegard Olivia Harding, dedicate the Emporium.
The merchandise shop unveiled its new look earlier today during a ribbon-cutting ceremony held by Dan Coleman, Area manager of Merchandise, the Mayor of Main Street, U.S.A., and Hildegard Olivia Harding, proprietor of the Emporium.
The girl's room now offers a boutique-style shopping experience.
Coleman welcomed the crowd and thanked them for their hard work contributing to the shop's new look.
"More than 50 percent of our guests at Magic Kingdom [Park] come through the Emporium, so what a great place this is to redo and refresh to get ready for our great summer period," Coleman said. "We have some new things to offer our guests – a nice home section of our home products gathered together…,  a nice boy's presentation there with Toy Story products and apparel and toys, and the girl's room is every little girl's dream."
A dedicated boy's area offers favorite Toy Story apparel, toys, books and more.
According to Suzette Noble, general manager, Merchandise, the new layout will offer a more exciting and seemless shopping experience for guests.
"It was all about positioning our product categories closer together and do something we call 'lifestyling,'" Noble said. "Normally, we have all soft-line products together, all accessories together, but now there's a nice mixture of all of it. You can stop and shop for a little girl and find all toys, accessories and soft-lines merchandised together all in one place. It's a one-stop-shop by lifestyle."
