KATONGA set to close
Busch Garden's 40-minute long Broadway-style show (KATONGA), is set to close on Labor day weekend.
It was discovered by Behind the Thrill.
No words have been said about the new show/attraction that may replace it.
Busch Gardens will announce more news about the subject this summer.
I personally enjoyed the show, but it was not so interesting. The sets were good, but the lack of special effects and the repetitive story made it a boring show....
But, what's your opinion? Have you ever seen Katonga (if you've ever been to Busch Gardens, of course)? Did you enjoy it? Are you happy to see a new show (or attraction, but that's less probable) replacing it?
Katonga has been showed for over six years (since 2004), so in my opinion, it's necessary to see a new show..
And a little update about the now-gone water section of the Rhino Rally..:
On their official Facebook page, Busch Gardens made this comment:
Just remember... nothing ever goes away around here without something better being added!
So, I can't wait to see what they will do with it!! I loved the water portion of the ride...
Old news, BG announced it in february 2010. Next show will be a ice show as in earlier days.

Well, thanks, but they didn't actually announce it yet...
