It's a small... refurb?

Well, in reality it should be a pretty long refurbishment for "It's a small world".
Indeed, the attraction will be closed during the following period (thanks to WDWMagic and Screamscape):
AUGUST 1, 2010 - OCTOBER 22, 2010.
It's almost a three-month long refurbishment, so speculation has already began about it.
Some say that they will add Disney characters to the existing ones, like they already did in California not so long ago... Here you are some of the figures found in the California version (courtesy of StitchKingdom):

Others say that they are also adding a seasonal overlay (for the winter season).
What do you think? I've never been a fan of this attraction, I mean, it's a classic so it should never disappear, but maybe with Disney characters it will become even better....
Let us be honest here. @latimesfunblog is the one who said there would be no characters on Twitter. It did not come from WDW News Today! They just copied it without proper credit!
