ReplyDeletesorry to hear the idea did not generate any reactions,
but to be honest it did not seem that appealing to me too. I really love your updates and insights into the parks and visit your site daily in preparation for my first visit to the world.. july 12th
but guessing what's where to me is probably just as interesting as for me to give you pic from my hometown and have you guess where it is,, since I never been in WDW before.
I'd be much more interested in hidden secrets and less obvious details that many people miss... in the end I am curious to your website for the information it gives that can not be easily found somewhere else.. and I guess.. guessing pics makes it a competition about who knows best.. while I am trying to get away from pressure and find relaxation in visiting your site..
I do wish you the best of luck with your site and I will keep looking forward to your updates!

And I guess (no pun intended) that you're also right about the competition.
Almost every visitor on our site has never been to WDW (or they've been there only a few times), so there's no need for something like that.
But, have you got any idea on what could replace the game?

about an alternate idea...
hmm.. good question,
I had a little brainstorm session and came up with some ideas.. perhaps you already thought of them yourself but here we go :
if you are looking for the participation of web visitors in a collaborating way; perhaps a photo competition is an idea, to have visitors send in the best photo they have made themselves in a Disneypark,
or
a collection of the most funny stories connected to disney(parks)
or
a weekly themed photo collage;
- all water related attractions,
- the best character photo's,
- all disney entrances,
- the best snack in a disney park etc.
- the best souvenir to buy under 10 dollars
- the most expensive souvenir found on property
- the most exceptional castmember encounter
- etc...
well.. I'll try and think of some more ideas..
