WDW's year in review 2009: EPCOT

Yesterday, we talked about what happened at magic Kingdom during the past 2009.
Today we'll consider EPCOT instead.

Here's the summary:
  • On January 28, Epcot guests were introduced to the high-tech, interactive world of Disney Channel animated character Kim Possible with the grand opening of Disney's Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure attraction.
  • The Disney fairies were given a new home, as Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden was unveiled during the 16th International Flower and Garden Festival in March.
  • The Great Piggy Bank Adventure opened at Innoventions West May 19. It teaches guests about the four key financial tools: setting goals, saving, spending smartly and diversifying their assets.
  • The Sum of all Thrills opened October 14 at Innoventions East. This is the first Innoventions attraction ever. It allows gusts to design their own ride and is intended to develop an interest in math and science.
  • On December 31, there were the following wait times: Spaceship Earth 70 minutes; The Universe of Energy 45 minutes; Mission: SPACE 160 minutes; Test Track 190 minutes; Journey Into Imagination 60 minutes (That's Epic!!);  The Seas With Nemo and Friends 50 minutes; Living with the Land 50 minutes; Maelstrom 50 minutes; Gran Fiesta Tour starring the three Caballeros 20 minutes; and (be prepared!!) SOARIN' 295 minutes!!!!!!!!
