Magic Kingdom Update: Fewer Tarps and Lower Wait Times (PART 1)
The slow season is a great time to visit Central Florida's theme parks. As you will notice in the following photo-report, many of Magic Kingdom's most popular attractions have shorter-than-usual wait times (excluding the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan's Flight, of course). That being said, one of the the park's beloved attractions - Splash Mountain - is currently closed for refurbishment. Let's begin to take a look around this amazing park an see what's new since the last time we visited.
Tarps still surround a portion of the Emporium's facade:
Walking down Main Street, U.S.A.:
Tarps are also up in front of the Hall of Champions:
Cinderella Castle:
"Move It, Shake It, Dance & Play It"
Nick and Judy from Zootopia are currently the "newest" characters featured in this parade:
Let's head to Adventureland:
We have no words. A section of the facade of Island Supply is STILL covered by tarps:
It feels like it's been like this for years:
Moving on:
Pirates of the Caribbean:
Frontierland:
Splash Mountain is currently closed for refurbishment:
I'm pissed off of seeing Nick and Judy not meeting guests, they were supposed to be the ones replaced in May, so they can do their meets. But these jerks at Disney decided that Chip and Dale met on Main Street, they don't being on Main Street, they being at Storybook Circus......
ReplyDeleteRelax lad. They are not real - just toy characters.
DeleteFor whatever reason, it doesn't seem like there is ever going to be a regular Nick and Judy meet at WDW. Why would they start now, over a year after the movie came out on DVD?
Delete"were supposed" according to who? A rumor, or a confident insider who posted on another site. Hardly Disney's fault.
