Universal Orlando Unveils New Universal Studios Florida Logo
Universal Orlando recently unveiled a brand-new logo for Universal Studios Florida. The updated logo looks very similar to the new Universal Orlando Resort logo and reflects the company's ever-evolving brand. The new logo will be rolled out in phases over time; for this reason, Guests visiting the resort or reading material about the park while this transition is taking place will see both the updated and legacy (former) versions of Universal Studio Florida’s logo as the old one gets phased out.
Here you are the two Universal Studios Florida logos (let us know which one you prefer in the comments):

I prefer the old one, more colorful. The new one looks kind of plain
ReplyDeleteI prefer the old one.
ReplyDeleteOld one is better.
ReplyDeleteLove it! so clean and much better
ReplyDeleteThis sort of thing is lost on me. They are just too similar. Unless you're making a huge change, this seems like a dumb way to spend company money.
ReplyDeleteOld one has more style, new one tweaking the world axis off to the left makes it a bit off as well
ReplyDeleteThe new one just doesn't make a statement like the old one did. I like the old one better, it popped more. The new one is kind of blah
ReplyDeleteThey could have kept the old typeface for the "Universal studios" part, but overall I like it.
ReplyDeleteIt does appear cleaner. However, that came with a cost. With limiting the colors used, changing the axis of the earth and then picking a type that really doesn't scream Universal may not have been what you where going for. Yes, the printing cost will be way cheaper with less colors. Go, stand in front of a hotel display and look at all the attractions you can choose to do while in Orlando. Will the new logo make you want pick it up? Does it look like the designs that have budget spend? It's a fine logo hat's off to the grafic designer. The Company Universal has such a prestigious history don't cut it short of what deserves.
ReplyDeleteI like the old one better.
