Hollywood Studios Update: Star Wars Construction (PART 2)
Welcome to the second part of our newest Disney's Hollywood Studios photo-update. As always, we invite you to check out PART 1 of this update before proceeding.
In the previous part, we walked around Hollywood Boulevard, the Center Stage area, and Animation Courtyard. Now we will continue our tour of this park by checking out Pixar Place (including the brand-new Star Wars and Toy Story themed lands, which are almost adjacent to that area), Muppet Courtyard, and more. Enjoy the photos.
Pixar Place:
The former Tour Bridge is now behind walls and has been turned into a temporary stroller parking:
A new Disney Vacation Club booth has been placed right next to the entrance of Pixar Place:
The cranes that we saw earlier can be found in the future site of Star Wars Land:
The Muppet*Vision 3D building is receiving some modifications:
The side of the building housing Toy Story Mania has a new opening on the side:
This could be the attraction's future entrance:
Commissary Lane:
We never noticed these posters before:
All of the trees near Muppet Courtyard have been removed:
The area looks so different now:
Entering Muppet Courtyard:
The balloon that used to be on top of the building housing Muppet*Vision 3D was removed weeks ago:
The former Mrs. Piggy fountain is still a planter (for now):
PizzeRizzo closed earlier than the rest of the park during our visit:
The outdoor seating area seems to have been expanded:
Surprisingly, even though the restaurant was closed, Guests could still enter the restaurant:
Let's take a look around, shall we?:

Looking at Google maps, those doors on the side of Midway Mania have always been there. Hopefully they put an entrance on the backside of the building as part of toy story land and just close off Pixar place.
ReplyDeleteWish they would house Monsters Inc. M&G in SS4, also couldn't the enterance for TSL can be placed between the construction walls and the TSMWM building NOT SS4?, why can they cancel the Star Wars stage show for good, and host actual M&Gs and autograph sessions for the SW characters, why couldn't the P&F M&G be turned to a SVTFOE M&G, and when will Olaf be swapped for another character at Celebrity Spotlight?, he can't be there forever.
