Hollywood Studios Update: Demolition Progress (PART 1)
Star Wars Land is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios. We all know that for a fact, but few Guests have been able to see how much progress has been done in the park in the past few months, as most of the work is being done in areas not accessible to Guests that are hidden behind facades and other buildings.
Just a few days ago, though, a quite large section of the Streets of America was completely demolished, giving a much more open feel to Muppets Courtyard.

Star Tours:
Entering Muppets Courtyard:
As we mentioned at the beginning of this post, some of the facades in the Streets of America are gone:
The only thing left is this arch and the brick wall separating the construction area from Muppets Courtyard:
Most of the other facades are still standing:
The Muppets courtyard seems so different since the Streets of America walls have come down.
ReplyDeleteNice update though.
Does anyone else think that Muppets Courtyard is a temporary fix like Camp Minnie Mickey in AK? I know they are making PizzeRizzo quick service restaurant, but the only other things is the Muppets attraction and a store. Now we have the Christmas store and Mama Melrose's that are completely out of theme with the Muppets.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree Herc. More changes will happen to make the transition between lands more seamless.
