Hollywood Studios Update: Expansion Finally Starts (Part 2)

In the first part, we walked around Hollywood Boulevard and then we moved on to the Center Stage area, Echo Lake, and the Muppets Courtyard area. Now we will continue to explore the park by taking a closer look around Muppet*Vision 3D, then we will head to entrance of the former Streets of America area.
The facades representing New York City are expected to come down in the next several months:

The current status of the former Pizza Planet restaurant:

The majority of the Toy Story props have been removed:
The rest of the area feels even quieter now that it has become a dead end:
Guests can find even more walls by the exit of Muppet*Vision 3D:
Some have said that these posters on the walls were once also present at Disney California Adventure:
As you can see, the former Premiere Theater and the San Francisco backdrop are completely gone:

Let's take a closer look at the map itself:
Notice that a small portion of the Streets of America was left on the map:
The green box to the right is the new flex theater by Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith:
The beautiful Center Stage area now features some planters:

Construction also continues on the new character greeting location for Mickey and Minnie:
A barrier is being built to hide backstage equipment seen nearby:
Guests can still get a glimpse of the Streets of America area:
The Writer's Stop is still open for business:
