Disney Springs Update: Town Center Expanding (PART 2)
Welcome to the part 2 of our new Disney Springs photo-report, OTPN Readers. PART 1 of this extensive update can be found by clicking on this link.
In the previous part we took a brief look around the Marketplace area of Disney Springs (including the newly-expanded World of Disney Store and more) as well as some of the buildings that make up the Town Center. Now we will take a look around the rest of Disney Springs, including The Landing and the West Side.
Walls are still up around the new STK American Steakhouse:
Planet Hollywood is still closed for a major refurbishment that will transform it into The Observatory:
Above the walls:
The new World of Coca-Cola shop is taking shape:
Disney Springs' massive bus area is also taking shape fairly quickly:
The second parking garage can be seen in the distance:
More buildings:
In the West Side, the Star Wars photo-op is still available:
Characters is Flight was not operating sue to high winds:
Moving on:
The new Star Wars Galactic Outpost:
Right next to it, Guests can still find the Super Hero Headquarters:
United World Soccer is still sporting (no pun intended) a temporary sign:
Walking toward the other end of this entertainment district:

Hi, great photos as always! When is this due to be completed? Visiting from the UK in October.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've read, most of it will be completed in the summer. Most likely, it will be 95% done sometime this fall.
ReplyDeleteWhen is Disney Quest supposed to be closing? Great update as always.
ReplyDeleteDisney Quest was supposed to be closing January 2016. Seeing how that month has come and gone, I'd say it's safe to assume it's going to be around for at least one or two more years. Rumor has it the NBA contract fell through. With no replacement lined up for the space and the current revitalization project so far in progress, closing Disney Quest to leave a vacant building is not a good option.
