Animal Kingdom Update: Central Hub Expansion (PART 1)

Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
This evening we are going to take a quick look around Disney's Animal Kingdom to check out the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction, including the park's hub. This area was recently expanded to provide larger walkways for Guests that will soon enjoy some of the many new nighttime offerings that will soon be available at the park. Let's see:

NOTE TO READERS: This evening we will be trying something new, but we will need the help of all our Readers. This will be our very first update to make use of an interactive gallery that has been embedded directly on our site. The gallery includes ALL of the photos featured in this article as well as some that have not been included. We would like to get your feedback on this. If you can, please, leave a message at the end of this update (Part 2) and let us know which of the following options would work the best in your personal opinion:

1) FEATURE BOTH THE GALLERY AND THE SINGLE PHOTOS WITH CAPTIONS;
2) FEATURE ONLY THE PHOTO-GALLERY WITHOUT CAPTIONS;
3) FEATURE ONLY THE SINGLE PICTURES WITH CAPTIONS (NO CHANGE).

Let's begin by taking a look at the parking lot. As you can see, multiple cranes continue to be used in the future AVATAR-themed area:

Guests can already spot the top of one of the showbuildings from the parking area:

  1. I am a fan of the single images, or

    FEATURE ONLY THE SINGLE PICTURES WITH CAPTIONS (NO CHANGE).

    On an iPhone screen these images are larger than in the gallery, and easier to view, so I greatly prefer the individual images with caption.

    Thanks

  7. I like the captions--they help me understand what's going on in places I'm less familiar with (like, all of Animal Kingdom, as it's not a favorite park for my kids).

    I also like the gallery--but only as a supplement to the single captioned pictures. I looked through the pics with captions first (both pages) and then came back and looked through the gallery--then I knew what I was looking at. I'd recommend you include the captioned pictures and then have the gallery at the end. I won't always look at the gallery pictures, but when I'm very interested it will be nice to view the additional pictures.
