SeaWorld Update: Slowly Moving Forward (PART 2)
Welcome to PART 2 of our newest SeaWorld Orlando photo-report. Be sure to check out PART 1 before proceeding, if you haven't already done so.
In the previous part of this update, we took a quick look around the entrance of the park, the walkways surrounding Manta, the Key West themed section, Journey to Atlantis, Kraken, and the very "cool" Antarctica area. Let's now continue to walk around the park and enjoy the atmosphere:
Work continues on the Sea Lion & Otter Stadium:
A few more walls, just to show that there's something going on:
The Shark Encounter exhibit:
The Nautilus Theater will soon become just a seasonal location since A'Lure, The Call of the Ocean will close early next year. This is quite sad, as the park is really in dire need of new offerings:
A quick look around the Sea Garden:
The beautiful fountain in the middle of one of the park's ponds:
Time to check out One Ocean:
The stadium was half full when our photographer took his seat. More Guests came in afterwards:
A truly inspiring show:
Wild Arct... ahem, The Polar Express Experience has returned once again:
No polar bears, sadly:
And that should be all for now. As we mentioned at the beginning of this post, it is our hope that the restructuring of the company will result in a better future for the chain, as these beautiful parks allow all of us to get closer with marine life, something that most humans would not be able to do otherwise (unless they visited aquariums, which are definitely different experiences).
Thank you for following us. We hope to see you again real soon!

Sea World Orlando is really such a beautiful park! Their landscaping and holiday decorations are stunning, it's a shame that they are having a hard time. Hopefully 2015 will bring them a whole new life. Love Sea World!
ReplyDeleteSea World really is the worst Orlando theme park
ReplyDeleteSeaWorld closed to capacity on Friday and Saturday that I know of. And on sunday the entire main parking lot was full, the over flow lot was full and they were parking across the street in the turtle lot. Doesn't seem like the holidays have been bad this year at SeaWorld. Miracles on Saturday was at capacity 30 minis before the show. And most shows throughout the day was full.
ReplyDeleteSeaWorld is great. I love the place and its truly the best park in Orlando in my opinion.
I disagree, there really isn't a "worst" park in Orlando. They have the best theme parks in the world. Sea World might not have the stamina of the other parks, but it's still a beautiful, stunning, and fun park!
ReplyDeleteSea World is the Best park in Orlando, Universal is second and Disney is last. Cannot stand Disney, or there fake family values.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't stand people who don't know the difference between "there" and "their".
ReplyDeleteAnd, what, opposed to Seaworld's fake animal values? Preaching conservation while enslaving intelligent, roaming pack animals that cannot be humanely contained? Forcing them to do tricks in the name of "educating" about their species? I guess Disney's lack of new E tickets is worse.
