Islands of Adventure Update: The Train is Ready (PART 1)

Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around Universal's Islands of Adventure to check out the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction. As always, we will focus primarily on the train station and the new King Kong area, but we will also take a general look around the rest of the park. So, without further ado, let us embark on this virtual tour of the park:

Welcome everyone:

A new sign advertises the free Wi-Fi service and the (great!) Universal Orlando app:

The rest of the Port of Entry:

Seuss Landing:

Multiple special events continue to take place throughout both parks:

Another small section of "If I Ran the Zoo" is now closed for refurbishment:

There's also still some minor work being done around the rest of the area:

More photos taken around Seuss Landing:

The Cat in the Hat is still spinning very lightly. We enjoy it mush more without the crazy and unnecessary spinning, but we do hope they will re-introduce just a couple more (mild) spinning actions:

Honk Honkers is still closed:

The Lost Continent:

We found this shirt being sold inside the Treasures of Poseidon store. We had never noticed it before. If you look closely, this is a very realistic reproduction of the spinning globe located right outside the gates of Universal Studios Florida (complete with the small holes around the blue area) instead of the regular park logo:

Moving on:

"It's dead, Jim":

The sign of a nearby store that was previously obstructing this view has been removed:
