Harambe Nights Impacts and More Animal Kingdom News

In preparation for Harambe Nights (a new, after-hour event taking place every Saturday throughout the summer months), Africa will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 (on this night there will be a rehearsal to prepare for the event) and Saturday, June 7. On these days, the Tusker House restaurant will have its last seating at 4:30 p.m., and there will be no dinner period. This will continue through every Harambe Nights event until August 9, 2014. 

In addition to that, construction has begun earlier this month on the expansion of Disney Outfitters. As this work proceeds, construction walls have been installed in the immediate area. Due to this project, the Tip Board is no longer staffed with Cast and is not being updated. Cast Members will be happy to contact each attraction directly to check wait times and get downtime information for Guests. Also, remember that you can continue to use the My Disney Experience app to find attraction wait times and entertainment show times.
