Islands of Adventure Update: Cat Not Spinning (PART 2)
Welcome to PART 2 of our newest Islands of Adventure photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers! PART 1 of this update can be found here.
In part 1, we took a look around the entrance of the park, the Port of Entry, Seuss Landing, and the some sections of the shrinking Lost Continent. Let's now continue walking around the park to see what's new:
Work on the new train station continues:
Something is also being added to Sindbad's theater:
The new secondary park entrance/exit:
Zonko's still closed:
Jurassic Park:
New green poles can bee seen throughout the area. Is that related to Wi-Fi internet? Probably:
Moving on:
An open door. Exciting:
Still nothing to report from the old Triceratops Discovery Trail area:
The lights were on, though:
Grad Bash theming:
A few photos around the amazing Camp Jurassic area:
Zonkos is permanently closed. It is being renamed and will be at Diagon Alley. I expect that Ollivanders will be closed too since this too will be going to the other side.
ReplyDeleteIs the candy shop half of Zonko's still open though or is that gone too?

ReplyDeleteThe candy store is still open and I believe they are extending it over to the other part where zonkos was, but I am not sure. I think Universal will put the themed stores in the correct area. With only Hogsmeade before, they had to put everything together. Now this will change. The tavern where Hagrid introduces Harry will be on the Diagon Alley side. Both sides will look amazing when they are done.
