Magic Kingdom General Update - April 18 (PART 4)
Welcome to PART 4 of this new Magic Kingdom Park general update (PART 3 can be found here).
Let's now leave Tomorrowland and head to the exit of the park (it's always sad to leave a theme park):
It looks like some new trees were recently planted in Town Square:
Where's the exit? Oh, there it is:
The new RFID-enabled entrances look very nice:
Some work taking place near the planter:
Time to leave:
The new signs directing Guests to the ferryboats, monorails, and buses have a wait-time display now:
Great idea:
Don't miss our upcoming Fantasyland update, by the way! Here you are just a few of the photos you'll see:
This is all! Thank you as usual for reading. Remember to post your comments and share this update with all your friends! Thanks again for your support, and see you tomorrow with more news and photo-updates.
Thanks for the MK update.I was wondering what happen to the city of tomorrow. I am glad to hear it isn't gone and its just getting some love. I am excited to play the new pirates game. It looks like a lot of fun!I will be on the look out for the Fantasyland update looks like they have made a lot of progress on the mine train since I was just there.
ReplyDeleteThe trees in Town Square were put in after Kelly and Michael taped Live in the MK, although they didn't have any leaves. It seems as though they were temporarily removed for the AFV taping, and now are back again. Happy to see leaves on them. When visiting the MK on Thursday night, I was worried that there wouldn't be any trees in the Square, but I was happily surprised. If they'd just let them be, we might finally have some shade trees again.
ReplyDeleteGreat update! I always love your photos :o) one thing I did wonder - did you mention to anyone about the big branch with the cracks on it at the Swiss Treehouse? You're totally right, it completely looks like an accident waiting to happen! Can't imagine that falling on anyone :O
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely mention to a cast member about the crack...otherwise if something happens and disney gets sued, you never know they might close the treehouse or something
ReplyDeleteCan You Please Do An EPCOT and Hollywood Studios Update!
ReplyDeleteI share the same feelings on telling a cast member about that tree branch. Better to be safe than sorry.
ReplyDeleteJust out of curiosity, seeing as you're not a big fan of Stitch's Great Escape (I'm not that crazy about it either), what were your thoughts on the original ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter?
How does the Tangled tower intrude on Frontierland/Liberty Square? Does it ruin sightlines? I remember when construction was going on it was easily visible. Did they plant trees or something?
ReplyDeleteI really wish Stitch left as well!
ReplyDeleteWatch what you say about Stitch's Great Escape! It is actually a great attraction that does not deserve the flack that it gets in certain fan circles!
ReplyDeleteStitch's Great Mistake.
ReplyDeleteHow to turn a awesome attraction into a steaming pile of horribleness.
Wish we could get Alien Attack back.
And I won't be to worked up about the tree, the inner structure is metal so the whole branch wouldn't fall off because if it could Disney would build a roof of nets above it instead of fixing it.
