Universal Studios Update: Still Crowded... (PART 1)
Hello Orlando Theme Park News Readers! It is another great sunny day here in Central Florida, and we are definitely in the mood for a new Universal Studios Florida photo-report. We hope you too are in the mood to read it, because it is going to be another huge update that you don't want to miss! So much is going on there...
As you may have inferred by reading the title, the Universal Studios Florida Park (and, by extension, the entire Universal Orlando Resort) is still very busy, and even more crowded than it was during the last part of December (with the exception of the last two days of the year, of course). Let's take a look around:
Seems quiet from outside:
But take a look here:
Once inside Universal Studios Florida, you can really tell that it is a busy day:
90-minute wait time for Despicable Me:
Express line extended out in the streets of Production Central:
Wow...
Well, on to something new. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit has gotten its brand-new banner:
It looks nice:
Lines for the new Snack Bar:
Time for some Transformers photos:
Concrete was being removed in the area of the rumored future Donkey meet-and-greet:
Slowly taking shape:
The Monsters Cafe' will remain open AT LEAST until January 19, 2013. We'll see what happens after that date (this is based on the fact that the newest park maps have the restaurant open until that date):
More Transformers photos (there's really nothing new or exciting to report. All work is being done inside):
From New York City:
From the boardwalk area near San Francisco:
The new Transformers statue has already been installed on top of the entrance!:
Oh, wait. That's not a Transformers' character...
Oh, well. He's still working on the attraction:
