Universal Studios Update: Full of Projects (PART 3)
Welcome to part 3 of this Universal Studios photo-update (PART 2 can be found at this link).
This small area before the new waterfront looks more spacious now, but we are not sure why:
Have they removed another section of the old railings?:
We are not sure, but there are some signs on the floor that seem to confirm that:
Another building continues to go vertical (that is said to be the future station for the train connecting Islands of Adventure with Universal Studios Florida):
Let's get back to the main building under construction in this area:
Photos don't make ANY justice. This building is immense:
It does have a soundstage look, but we are sure it will have a beautiful facade in the future:
Want to see something scary? Here:
Sorry, we had to do that... That is really the worst theme park show ever created. Barney has a better show...
It is now time to check the status of the work taking place in the Simpsons themed area:
This is the start of the work in the waterfront area:
More palm trees have been cut down:
Moving closer toward The Simpsons Ride:
A look at the former International Food & Film Festival restaurant from the other side of the lagoon:
It does have a soundstage look, but we are sure it will have a beautiful facade in the future:
ReplyDeleteYeah a beautiful facade you'll never take a picture of or report on.
I'm sure they would do a photo report for its debut.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that there are still people taking the time to post complaints about the lack of Potter coverage on this website! If you have such an issue with the updates that are posted, then why do you still visit the site? It makes no sense at all. Regardless of their reasons, the owner of this site has every right to cover whatever they choose. With that comes the right to omit coverage of whatever they choose, for whatever reason they may have. They don't owe you or anyone else an explanation as to why. This is THEIR site, and they post incredible and frequent updates about the Orlando theme parks. Stop giving them crap about the ONE thing they have personal feelings against covering.
ReplyDeleteI feel like it is important to add a little disclaimer: I am a HUGE Potter fan, including the books, films, and WWoHP. If I can respect the site owner's preferences, you should be able to do the same thing.
Wait, what's the issue with Potter?
ReplyDeletemaybe a copyright thingy
ReplyDeleteGreat panorama, thanx! (you moved 3 feet to the left ;o) )
ReplyDeleteI think the lack of coverage of Potter/Haunted Mansion/Halloween events is silly, but they're extensively covered on other sites. No reason to complain that they aren't here.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's a moral objection and then a contradictory message of "it'll have a beautiful facade" with frequent updates of the building of this area, it's a ridiculous message. So the moral objection only kicks in once the area is complete? The message is particularly frustrating when Potter does focus on love & friendship, with magic as a tool to tell a story. It's like reporting news but missing out news you don't like. Bizarre.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like appropriate weather for a future London-themed area. ;)
